What we offer as a Design – Build Specialist

We want to help you fall in love with your home!  Sterling Renovations & Design provides luxury remodeling with home styling and interior design services. Principals David and Julie Walsh are experts in luxury home remodeling in the Southlake / Keller / Westlake / Colleyville areas.

 

Project management

David and Julie will meet with you at your home to discuss your vision.  Once you are under contract, they manage all construction logistics, taking measurements, ordering products and coordinating contractors’ schedules.  This ensures the project is within budget and running on schedule. When a design decision affects the budget, you are informed so there are no surprises upon completion.

Concierge Services

Your contract will include Concierge Services.  We want to ensure your remodel is as painless as possible for you.   Among our services, we provide full service cleaning upon completion.  We can refer a professional mover to pack items that need to be moved and return them upon completion.

Access to showrooms

This is the fun part!  Our design services includes access to showrooms with the latest trends and styles that are only available to their trade. For instance, you can personally choose the quartzite, marble or granite you love.  You can tour upscale showrooms that will help you get a feel for colors, flooring, lighting or appliances.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Bringing construction & interior design together

Our team has in-depth knowledge in both the construction and design and stylist industry.  This goes far beyond backsplash, fabrics and furniture placement.  We can recommend which porcelain or hardwood flooring is best for your family; or design a better floor plan for your lifestyle knowing which walls can be removed and which need to remain as support walls.

If you are not ready for a remodel, but are seeking advice, we are available for the following hourly rate:  Interior Design / Construction Advice = $150 per hour / 2 hour minimum.

CAD drawings

When you have chosen Sterling Renovations & Design, our design team can bring the bigger picture into focus.  With our CAD designs and 3D renderings, it’s easy to see your dream and how everything will flow together.  For example, we can show you the exact materials selected in your custom designed home.  If you would like to experiment with different colors, we can immediately show you different cabinet colors, wall colors and can reconfigure flooring choices and colors.  We can add windows and remove walls.  The purpose of this step is to give you confidence in your design from start to finish.

CAD Designs / Renderings  = $200 per hour / 5 hour minimum.

Here is an example of a CAD design by Catherine Walsh.  Anything here can be changed instantly, from lighting or  flooring to wallpaper or tiles.  You can feel confident with your design before moving forward!

We can also do additions.  We are getting more requests for this service as families are aging in place and wanting to care for elderly parents.
